I purchased this system when I started my mobile mixed animal practice in 2018. While it is designed to be a portable unit, it does not function dependably out in the field and images cannot be sent to the cloud for viewing without direct connection to the internet. This is not a bad system, but the technology is not good enough for a mobile setting.

It would be just fine for a stationary setting where it can be connected directly to the internet. It is user friendly, takes great images and is small, so a space saver.

The viewing screen is small (10") due to it being designed as portable, but the images can quickly be sent to the cloud and viewed on a larger screen.

Tech support has been great when I have needed them. I haven't had any complaints about the equipment and the quality of the images, outside of it not being dependable on the road.

I contacted the company to inquire about cloud access and warranty extension with a new owner and they said they are happy to help set everything up once a purchase has been made. (extra fee from the company) Please feel free to ask questions!

The software is Scil and that is loaded on the computer (I love this program more than the Idexx one I am currently using). We stored the images on the local computer, but did also have a cloud PACS system through Idexx. 

The system is still supported, currently by Fovea Digital Radiography.

Everything included except the generator... unit has the PACS software.  However, the system was set up by Idexx for our specific clinic.  Any potential buyer would need to contact Idexx to get the system set up for them, and there is a charge for this.

When you scan it (at least with our system) you can choose to erase on the scan or you can actually re scan and get a bit lighter image then do an erase. Super handy way of getting xrays done.

The NEXT Equine DR is composed of the workstation that comes in a carrying station that allows you to elevate the monitoring system for easier stall side use.

The tablet is 14" enclosed in a rugged, dust, water resistant with military specifications for shock and vibration.

The display is sunlight readable and touchscreen with an added stylus.

The workstation comes with preprogrammed equine radiograph series.

The tablet and carrying station are BRAND new never used in the field. It replaced my 2019 model after a horse meets tablet situation. The case allows for dual charging of the tablet and the acquisition battery panels at the same time.

The Acquisition panel is the original 2019 panel with 2 new battery panels. Average life for each battery is approximately 6 hours.

The panel is wireless and will communicate with any xray generator.

Sale also includes a very durable MXR podoblock detector foot tunnel that also has a 5 degree angle option for skyline views.

A 2009 TR90 MinXray that has been moderately used but still in very good working condition. In October 2021 the unit was sent in for calibration and to verify working condition and report indicates excellent results. It will be included in the purchase if buyer accepts asking price.

The plate is a Varian PaxScan that was purchased through Soundeklin. Soundelkin (Sound) is currently one of the largest x-ray manufacturers. It will need a table and generator to be fully functional. I believe there are some serviceable components within this plate but I am not sure as I have never had to deal with repair. When completely installed with an x-ray table, you will use the computer and software program provided to input patient information, prepare the plate, then when you step on the pedal the x-ray image will pop up on the computer screen within a couple seconds. For installation, I would have an IT/x-ray professional complete it.

The unit was working normally when it was uninstalled. Additional installation and service questions should be directed towards an x-ray expert.

This is a portable xray system.

We have not used the system for 4 years, but when I set it up and turned it on for pictures, everything fired up great and the software started with no problems.

The generator is a MinXray Ultra HF. The power cord that we have for the generator is a different plug. I’m attaching pics, and you can see it in them. It was due to be inspected last year, however we chose to disable it per Colorado regulations. This means we pulled a fuse so you couldn’t accidentally radiate someone while it was in storage. We will replace the fuse, and make sure it’s fully functional, but it was before hand. For generator year, I can't find it anywhere. I'm positive that we had it when I started here in 2010, but the manual says January 2011. So it's at least about 10 years old.

The engine and transmission are good. We have not had any problems with it. We have kept up with maintenance work. I don't see any reason it couldn't drive a long distance. We were still using it everyday up until 2 weeks ago. It drove really well. The biggest issue we had with it was tires because we drive on mostly back country roads so we always had the best tires put on and made sure we had tire sensors on so we knew if one was ever losing air. We had digital x-ray in there so it would be easy to install.

Hello,

We ourselves are building a clinic and purchased all of this equipment (and more) from a full functioning and operating clinic to move into our facility. So we can trust that the equipment is working well, but we have not actually used the equipment ourselves. We are building a speciality hospital and so will not be performing dental procedures, and we decided to go with full DR instead of CR which is why we are selling these items. As we go through everything we purchased we may be interested in selling other items as well.

I could not find a date on the CR reader and so cannot help you with the age, but the unit seems to be relatively new and in good order. We do not have example radiographs from this unit.

We are not aware of any service agreements, and were not told of any when we purchased. Similarly we were not told of any recent repairs.

The dental machine is just an x-ray generator. The reader will be dependent on what film you plan on using.
