Back in the summer of 2013, my oldest son Brad Haven, Jr. who works in new veterinary equipment sales, was in and out of veterinary hospitals and noticed a lot of used equipment just sitting in the back rooms.
He said, “Hey Pop, you should start a website for used veterinary equipment.”
He suggested I call it usedvetequipment.com. I was surprised that the URL was available.

And so the website usedvetequipment.com was started in August 2013.
The first few years were quiet. Very quiet!
I went to work to learn about SEO and website promotions. I started a Facebook page to help promote the website. The Facebook page has grown to almost 10,000 Followers now.
I was patient, and over time usedvetequipment.com started to grow.
Now, the website appears often on the front page of a search on Google.
I'm not in the business of buying and reselling equipment. Instead, my website serves as a marketplace, connecting veterinarians who want to list and sell their used equipment.
From day one, my goal has been simple:
"We bring the buyer and the seller together."
I take pride in providing a secure platform where funds are held in escrow until the equipment is delivered and checked out.

To foster transparency and trust, I've kept my website sales fees low compared to others in the industry.
