This shockwave is used for large animals and could be used on canines as well. We have the original manuals and there are no missing pieces. We also have the original cart that holds the device; the total weight of the unit and cart is about 90-100lbs. The PiezoWaveVET unit and Therapy Source together weigh approximately 30lbs. The listed price includes both the shockwave and the cart! This shockwave device has been well kept and only moderately used. Only 1,076,185 shocks have been used on the unit. The therapy source has 2,551,365 pulses used, which is also still in the moderate usage range. Shipping of the cart and unit are included in the price. We are located in NYC and are also open to pick-ups! Please let us know if you are interested in picking up this unit and cart instead of having it delivered.

In regard to the lifespan of the shockwave, the numbers given on our posting indicate the total pulses of the connected therapy source and the total amount of pulses emitted by the device that have been used since we first purchased it. A brand new unit has 0 shocks and pulses. We have not used it much, so the usage of this equipment falls in the moderate usage range. According to the Elvation company customer service, our device had a warranty for either one year post purchasing or 3 million pulses used, whichever would have come first. We have used about 2.5 million pulses total, so we are under the 3 million pulses amount since purchasing and the unit was manufactured in 2013. We were also informed by the Elvation team that the Shockwave does not have a definitive life span. The approximate life span for the therapy source could be anywhere from 5 million to 8-10 million pulses. Given that it was minimally used, it should have several million more shocks and pulses to give.
