It’s a human machine and equine settings had to be programmed in for scanning equine. This machine is beneficial for animals. The protocols programmed on it now are used for scanning equine legs (its primary use) and for ultrasound guided procedures like injecting cervical facets and thoracic/lumbar facets and the sacroiliac joint.

- linear probe (tendon)
- larger convex probe would work on large breed dogs for abdominal scans
