This unit does not come with a battery so it would need a new battery that costs around $700 or can be used plugged in without the battery.

This unit is not covered under any warranty.

Seller's answers to buyer questions:

I don't know much about this system. The Vet that used this one has been gone for awhile and the Tech we have hasn't used it much. It does not have a battery. It would need to be plugged in to use but it did take pretty good pictures and as far as I know is in good working order.

I do think the settings are equine only but it can scan small animal with the depth and resolution. The probes that come with it are more for large animal so for small it would probably need a probe for that (one more concave) but the pictures should be good for small animal tendons with the probe we have
