The unit does not come with the software. The software was purchased through Sedecal, so you could contact them for pricing. However, I believe the hardware can be used with whatever digital viewing software the clinic uses. The reader is simply scanning the images off of the cassette and converting them to digital images.

The scanner has been used. It was replaced approximately 1 month prior to us upgrading to a DR system. The DR system was purchased through the same company and we received a really good deal on the upgrade, which is why we moved forward even though we had just replaced the scanner in the CR unit. So, it was used for about a month and worked fine.
