Here answers to questions:
1) The large ball can be used, and in fact is the head most commonly used by the previous owner of the clinic. It was screwed onto the hand piece attachment and left on for so long that we just can’t unscrew it. We had a rep from the company come to our clinic this past fall to perform a demo so that my business partner and I could better understand how to use the machine. He said that this large ball still works just fine.
2) The rep from Companion who came to our clinic a few months ago used the machine and did not see any issues with it. I’ll be completely honest that I do not use it, but I have watched our senior vet tech use it on patients without issue.
