This triac centrifuge is a work horse. It takes up a small counter space but works well for spinning urine, blood and micro hematocrit tubes. The inside well has some paint loss so not picture perfect but otherwise it is in good condition.

Standard centrifuge tubes. We placed cotton in the bottom of a plastic centrifuge tube to hold all our blood tubes for spinning so that they were easier to take out after spinning.

This chemistry analyzer can run 285 tests per hour and house 75 samples at once. Tests can be "bumped" to the front of the que. Multiple advanced chemistry profiles available.

We had both Axcel and idexx machines running together. Axcel ran chemistries quicker, cheaper and more can be run at a time. The only reason we stopped using it was employee compliance, everyone was used to using the idexx machines that used plasma so there was no wait time on spinning the samples. The Axcel uses serum so there is a 10 min wait to spin time.

The only thing needed to start using it is the chemicals/supplies. We purchased them through Covetrus.
