Answer to question:
You would be able to use it with a regular laptop, as long as that laptop has a dental X-ray program. For example, at our clinic we had an older dental film processor called Scan-X duo that was completely separate from our portable handheld X-ray. So we just kept upgrading our handheld portable X-ray unit and used it along with our older Scan-X duo and films and it worked perfectly. So the short answer to your question is yes it can be used with any other dental processing equipment! As all this handheld portable X-ray unit does is just provide the emmission of the rays as according to size, species, and tooth you set it to. Hope that helps!
