From manufacturer:
The CUBE Vet allows for an adjustment of energy delivered depending on the factors involved, specific to your patient. This is thanks to selected menus that are graphically intuitive. Increased power and the wavelengths available play a crucial role in the success of the laser therapy.
The CUBE Vet allows for complete customization according to the body zone being treated, type of skin or coat hair of the patient, body weight, and skin or coat color. CUBE Vet makes it possible to select specific treatments and tailor them to your patient’s needs.
Every CUBE Vet protocol consists of dynamic parameter settings, to be chosen according to the different types of animal coats, treatment condition, and treatment area size.

I am also a chiropractor. I've worked with animals (mostly just dogs and horses) for quite some time, but never my mainstay for several reasons but mostly for human patients that had canine or equine issues. I have been teaching physical agents and modalities for a couple of decades in higher education and post grad and some of which in the veterinary space on the devices.
Here are the seller's replies to buyer questions:
How does this brand and laser compare to Companion Animal health Lasers?
Of equal or better quality, in house manufacturing and development of components
IS this company still in business?
The information in the photo of the manufacturer is correct, K-Laser/Eltech is the manufacturer, always has been where as there were two previous import distributors, first was K-LaserUSA then Chattanooga.
It appears there were some legal issues and I don't want to be in a position to not be able to get replacement parts should we have an issue.
The issue was that the importer to the USA was in breach of a contract (beyond my discussion) for contract manufacturing. Nonetheless, they were sued by Eltech to cease and desist in the marketing and sale of their product and use of the name K-laserUSA. They (K-LaserUSA) subsequently became another laser company where as K-Laser/Eltech has remained in good standing and business all along and retain the name K-Laser (in combination with Indiba who manufacturers radiofrequency devices).
Does it come with a carrying case and stand?
No, it comes with what is listed, the stand was sold for an additional $2500 and case $400 which could likely still be purchased from them. It is not useful in the field and a high center of mass in clinic so can be knocked over with excited animals (and humans :-) ) . I use several "Pelican" style cases from Amazon for other equipment that is not only sufficient but much less expensive :-)
This one is battery powered and can be used in the field correct?
Yes, which is one of the advantages over Compnaion, as well as size and weight (approx 3.5lb) where the unit can even be held in hand easily while application with other, such as being in an animal stall. Battery charges fully, can also be used while charging. Each diode is a custom made hermetically sealed system with a high capacity cooling system to reduce heating of the unit, which causes degradation of devices over time.
So there is still an operating location here in the US if I need parts or work done on the unit?
Yes, I can understand their reservation. I worked with the founder, lead engineer and owner of the company, Fernando and he is an upstanding guy. A certain leader in laser diode technology and application. These lasers are purpose built, not diodes taken off a shelf and retrofitted for a market, as well as the cooling system. The algorithms in the protocols is actually tested for fluence and energy flux. All of those factors combined assure the repeated delivery of energy consistently to the patient, if that matters. You see, heat accumulation reduces output and overtime actually deterioration of the devices (any device that is electromechanical), so the cooling system is designed for specification of application and longevity of the device.
